The CORE heavy-duty funding segment is currently accepting voucher requests for all equipment categories. The following equipment categories continue to have funding available: airport ground support, commercial harbor craft, TRUs, and large forklifts/cargo handling equipment. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Categories that are oversubscribed are accepting voucher requests for the waitlist. Don’t miss this opportunity to apply for funding aimed at advancing sustainable off-road transportation solutions.

ZEV Tour: Clean Fleet Experience

The CORE team participated in the ZEV Tour Clean Fleet Experience event on October 9, 2024, at the California Mobility Center in Sacramento, CA. CORE Project Administrators, alongside representatives from CARB, HVIP, and Cal Fleet Advisor, provided attendees with valuable information about California’s regulations and incentive opportunities. The event was a great success, highlighting opportunities available through CORE and other CARB programs.

 

ZEV Tour: Lunch and Learn

ZEV Tour Lodi

The CORE team took part in the ZEV Tour Lunch and Learn event on October 24, 2024, in Lodi, CA, organized by Western Truck Center. CORE Project Administrators, in collaboration with representatives from CARB, HVIP, and Cal Fleet Advisor, offered attendees important insights into zero-emissions technology and available incentives. The event fostered engaging discussions, allowing participants to ask questions and share their own experiences about their journeys toward sustainable practices. Overall, it was a valuable opportunity, showcasing the resources offered by CORE and other CARB programs.

Air Quality and Climate Change Strategies in the Use of Zero- and Low-Emissions Machinery

At the recent Air Quality and Climate Change Strategies in the Use of Zero- and Low-Emissions Machinery event hosted by CALAC+ in Santiago, Chile. Daniela Day presented the critical role of the California CORE Project, with a special focus on the innovative Off-Road ZETI Tool. Her presentation highlighted the tool’s potential to transform the adoption of zero-emissions technologies in the off-road sector by streamlining decision-making processes and fostering collaboration between industry and government. Daniela emphasized the importance of these efforts in accelerating the region’s transition to sustainable practices and achieving significant emissions reductions. The Off-Road ZETI Tool is now live and Version 2 will be available in the fall of 2024!

Version 2 Coming Soon: Off-Road Zero Emission Technology Inventory (ZETI) Tool  

On August 21, 2024, seven new categories of zero-emission equipment are launching on the Off-Road ZETI including construction, harbor craft, agriculture, airport ground support equipment, rail and locomotive, mobile power and ground power units, and mining.  

Users will be able to explore the latest offerings on the zero-emission off-road market to compare incentives and specifications – including the fully electric boats that cruised the River Seine at the Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony! 

A webinar will be hosted on Friday, August 30 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Pacific Time to highlight the tool’s features and upcoming off-road initiatives within CALSTART’s Global Drive 2 Zero program.
